Sayvo is a voice-first money tracker made by Oriax. This page explains what the app does with your data, in plain words.
The short version
Sayvo has no accounts and no cloud. Your entries live on your phone. The only thing that leaves it is the few seconds of audio you record, so it can be turned into an entry.
What stays on your phone
Every entry, your currency, your cycle day, your spending limit and your language are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Sayvo does not back them up or sync them anywhere.
What happens when you speak
When you hold the button, Sayvo records up to ten seconds of audio and sends it to our server together with your currency and your twenty most recent entries, so a correction like “the pizza was twelve” can find the right one. Our server passes the audio and those entries to OpenAI, which turns speech into text and text into an entry. We do not keep the audio: it is processed and discarded. OpenAI handles it under its API terms and does not use it to train its models.
A random device identifier
To keep voice fair for everyone, the app creates a random identifier on your device and sends it with each voice request. It is not tied to your name, number, email or anything else about you, and a fresh one is created if you reinstall the app.
Crash reports and usage statistics
If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a report with the device model, operating system version, app version and where in the code it failed. We also collect a small set of anonymous usage events, such as whether an entry was added by voice or by typing. None of this includes your entries or anything that identifies you.
What we never collect
No name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, bank details or advertising identifier. There are no ads and no data brokers.
Children
Sayvo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
